Why Ten Eight

One Contractor. Every Trade. No Finger Pointing.

Most bathroom remodels go sideways in the handoffs. The tile guy waits on the plumber. The plumber waits on the electrician. Nobody owns the schedule, and the homeowner ends up managing three subcontractors who have never worked together.

We work differently. Ten Eight Renovations is a licensed general contractor, which means the plumbing, the electrical, the waterproofing, the tile, and the finish carpentry all run through one crew and one license. When something needs a decision, you make one call.

How It Works

How the Job Actually Runs

01
Walkthrough & Estimate
We come out, look at what is behind the walls as much as what is in front of them, and talk through what you want. You get a written estimate with the scope spelled out.
02
Design & Material Selection
Tile, fixtures, vanity, counters, lighting. We help you choose things that work together and hold up in a wet room.
03
Build
Permits pulled, crew scheduled, work sequenced so trades are not tripping over each other. You know who is showing up and when.
04
Walkthrough & Warranty
We walk the finished bathroom with you before we call it done. Anything on the punch list gets handled, backed by our workmanship warranty.
What Homeowners Say

Real Reviews From Real Bathroom Remodels

★★★★★

"Ten Eight Renovations did our bathroom and did an outstanding job!! We wanted to upgrade everything and get rid of the tub and make a nice stand up shower that was wider then the tub space. The job came out extremely nice! Tile work is nicely done, flooring looks great and is level...They fixed anything we pointed out as quality is what they strive for and they delivered!!!!"

Questions

Bathroom Remodeling FAQ

How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A standard full bathroom typically runs three to five weeks from demolition to final walkthrough. Master baths with custom tile work, structural changes, or long lead time fixtures run longer. We give you a schedule before we start and we tell you when something moves.
Do you pull permits?
Yes. Permits are pulled and inspections coordinated under CSLB #1057677. Work done without permits can surface as a problem years later when you sell, and it is not worth the shortcut.
Can I still use the bathroom while you work?
Not the one being remodeled. If it is your only full bathroom, tell us during the walkthrough and we will sequence the work to shorten the window as much as the job allows.
What happens if you find water damage behind the walls?
It happens on older South Bay homes more often than not. We stop, show you exactly what we found, and give you a written cost to correct it before we proceed. You will never get a surprise line item on a final invoice.
Do you do the plumbing and electrical yourself, or subcontract it?
It runs through our crew under our license. That is the whole point of hiring a general contractor instead of coordinating trades yourself.
What does a bathroom remodel cost?
It depends on size, whether plumbing is moving, and the material selections. Rather than quote a range that may not fit your project, we will walk it with you and put a real number in writing. The estimate is free.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. CSLB #1057677, active, and carrying liability coverage. Verify it on the CSLB website before you hire anyone, including us.
